Im a grandma, and here are my suggestions....Is she able to see well? Hear well? Since you might not be able to be there in person, send her apicture of you, a small hand held recorder with headset, and a tape of you talking to her. Tell her about your favorite memories, and your need to make more memories with her. Read scriptures, or poetry , or inspirational messages to her. Hearing your voice and seeing your face will be a big help, give her the encouragement she needs to fight this battle, and win her way back. Let her know you are there for her, and then every so often, send a new tape.

Or if this just isnt your %26quot;style%26quot; why not a book, or music or just a photo collage of you??

.A grandmas biggest fear is not being remembered or loved, and needed. I wish you both the best...

Reply:What about a balloon bouquet? They are cheery and fun and might pick up her spirits.

Good luck and I%26#039;ll keep her in my prayers.
