Good flowers that live well in a pot?

To start off, I live in Minnesota. Today we had a beautiful day, it was atleast 75 degrees and sunny. But anyway, I wanted to plant some sort flower in a fairly large pot to keep in my room. I can give it sunlight (my room faces the sun and it is always sunny!). So what are some pretty flowers that live well in these conditions?

I have a goldfish plant that blooms almost constantly in the sun. African violets bloom almost continuously, but I wouldn%26#039;t put them in a large pot. Gerbera daisies are pretty and will probably last a couple of months.
Reply:Geraniums do well both indoors and out. Just be sure to remove any dead flowers before they go to seed.
Reply:African violets.

It is difficult to grow outdoor plants indoors. I have tried it and they just don%26#039;t seem to get enough sun.

And yes, it is a beautiful day and we should be out enjoying it. Not sitting at a computer. This could be the last day of summer without mosquitoes here in Minnesota.
Reply:Angel wing Begonia loves bright light is easy to grow and can with good care live over 20 years.Sounds like you have the right conditions for this plant, they can get large but can be pinched back any time and bloom almost continuously. They do take a short rest in winter.Come in reds, pinks and white blooms.
Reply:hi, marguerit and pink rose are very beautiful andromantic and sprightly flowers.
